Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Secretarius at secretari.us (“Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Secretarius.

The service

Secretarius is an AI-powered meeting assistant that joins video calls, records and transcribes conversations, and generates summaries and action items. Features may change over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable.

Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind your organization if you use Secretarius on its behalf.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in violation of applicable law or third-party rights
• Record meetings without proper consent from all participants where required
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Upload malicious code or use the Service to send spam or harmful content
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission

Your content

You retain ownership of meeting recordings, transcripts, and other content you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service. You represent that you have the rights and consents necessary to submit Your Content and to allow Secretarius to join and process your meetings.

AI-generated output

Summaries, action items, and other outputs are generated by AI and may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them for business, legal, or other decisions. Secretarius does not provide legal, financial, or professional advice.

Fees and payment

Paid plans, if offered, are billed according to the pricing shown at signup or in your account. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise. We may change pricing with advance notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY ACCURATE.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SECRETARIUS AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID ANY FEES.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, though provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
